  • Course Overview
    The UG Programme focuses on the three key areas in the field of Commerce with Information Technology.
    B.Com (IT) – Accounting, Software Engineering and Networking.
    The followings topics are covered throughout the course:
    Financial and Management Accounting
    Object Oriented Programming with C++
    Cost Accounting
    Principles of Marketing
    Financial and Investment Management
    Networking Management
    Web Technology
    Java Programming
    Software Engineering
    Direct Taxation
    The program reflects the rapid changes in the syllabus to meet the demands of the industry.
  • Course Breakup
    I year:
    In the first year, the students are enabled to learn the fundamentals of Accountancy, Mathematics, statistics, Cost Accounting and Marketing. They also learn the fundamentals of computer and programming. The focus is partly on commerce subjects and partly on computer subjects.
    II year:
    In the second year, the students are enabled to develop their application oriented computer knowledge. They also learn cost accounting, principles of marketing, managerial economics and financial management.
    III year:
    In the third year, the students learn the direct tax principles, investment management, management accounting and Java programming. They undertake a computer-related individual project work under the Supervision of the individual staff members.
