The RVS College of Arts and Science is affiliated to the Bharathiar University and it blossomed into a full-fledged centre of learning on 31st October, 1986 with 83 students and nine staff members. At present, there are 133 members in the teaching staff and 45 non-teaching staff serving about 2500 students. In the beginning, the college offered 4 PG courses and 10 UG courses including Bachelor of Computer science, Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Commerce.
