As proper planning and proactiveness are the hall marks of an institution, a strategic plan is designed by each department, programmed ahead for the whole academic year, all the activities based on seven criteria outlined by NAAC.  The strategic plans are submitted by the departments to the IQAC, which moniters the execution process on a periodic schedule.  An evaluation is made by IQAC at the end of each semester and the weightages are taken into account for the Annual Peformance review of the departments, culminating in the fixing of grades.
    The strategic plan is drawn comprehensively involving activities scheduled for one full academic year.  It covers all activities ranging from admission work to Alumni get together.  The plan is devised after thorough discussion among the teaching fraternity of the concerned departments. Every month the IQAC gauges the implementation of the scheduled activities, and submits a progress report to the management.  At the end of the semester, grades signifying weightage points are awarded to each department, which forms a partial component for consideration in the Annual Performance review (APR).  The annual performance review process is conducted incorporating a good number of parameters such as students evaluation of staff, evaluation by HOD, evaluation by colleagues, participation in seminars, paper presentation, publications etc.  The teaching faculties ranging upto 10th rank are identified and honoured with cash awards and citations in a glittering ceremony presided over by an Academic Dignitary.
